~ Up-Coming Meeting~
Protecting Your Intellectual Properties
Wednesday, May 9th
1275 Thornblade Blvd.
Greer, SC 29650
What is intellectual property in relation to your personal life versus your profession? What is the impact of social media and some of the ramifications on our everyday life?
What about your diDgital life after death?
Social media and our devices have become second nature to us all. The technology has changed all our lives, some in positive ways, and others more negatively. Pokemon GO accidents. Russian hacks. Lost emails. Online scams. "Tender" moments. Instafamous “no-bodies.” Megan Early will teach you how to learn more about your intellectual property and how you can protect it!

Appalachian Grant Program- This year our chapter is offering a grant program to help further the education and certification advancement of individuals in the catering and events industry.
This year has already been so exciting and fun! My goal has been to have diverse topics that appeal to not just event and Catering professionals, but to all professionals that provide a service or own a business.
We are thrilled to have presentations on intellectual property, sales, contract writing and negotiation, and event production coming up. And dare I say how thrilled I am to have our July 18th social at Spare Time?
My other goal is to make our meetings not just a time to learn, but a time to network and enjoy.
Please bring friends to our meetings if you think the topic would appeal to them - we would love to meet them!
See you at Thornblade!
